Political Career: Is serving his first tenure as a Member of Parliament in the constituency of St. Andrew North Western (as of March 2018) and as Minister of Finance and the Public Service. In 2016 he served as Ambassador-at-Large for Economic Affairs with the Office of the Prime Minister and as an Opposition Senator (2013-2015)
Profession: He is a Company Director and business executive. Served as Vice Chairman of the Musson Group and Chairman of Eppley Ltd as well as several executive positions at the NCB Financial Group, Red Stripe, Jamaican Broilers Group, Seprod Ltd.
Education: He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Math and Computer Science, UWI, a MSc in Applied Statistics (1994) and a PhD in Numerical Analysis (1997). He is a recipient of both a Commonwealth and Rhodes Scholarship.
Civic Activities: He has served on the Board of the Bank of Jamaica, as Chairman of the Port Authority of Jamaica, Chairman of the National Housing Trust and HEART Trust NTA. He is a recipient of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica “50 under 50” Business Leadership Award.
