G Anthony Hylton CD, MP
Political career: He serves as Member of Parliament for Western St. Andrew (1993-present) and is currently Shadow Minister of Trade, Industry & Global Logistics. He has served as Deputy Chairman of the People’s National Party. He served in the Simpson-Miller administration as Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce (2012-2016). He was a Minister of State and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade in the Patterson administration (1993-2001 and 2006-7), as well as Minister of Mining and Energy (2001-2002). Mr. Hylton is also a Former Executive Director of Legal and Foreign Affairs in the Policy Review Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister (1990-1993).

Education: He is a graduate of University of London, LLM (1985-1986) London Institute of World Affairs, Diploma in Air and Space Law Georgetown University, Washington DC, JD (1980-1983) and Morgan State University, Baltimore MD, B.Sc. (1975-1979) Kingston College.
