Dwayne Vaz MP
Political Career: MP Vaz serves as the Member of Parliament for Westmoreland Central constituency, representing the People’s National Party, after his re-election in the September 2025 General Election. He serves as the Deputy Spokesperson on Roads and Works.
Began his representation of the Westmoreland Central constituency in December 2014 and retained it in the February 2016 elections. He has served as Chairman of the Peoples National Party Youth Organization (PNPYO) for the parish of Westmoreland and as Constituency Consultant to the late Roger Clarke (former MP for Westmoreland Central).
Profession: Entrepreneur who partnered with Flexi Financing and Consultancy Agency and Estelar Global Services both located in Savanna-la-mar, worked with The Social Development Commission as a Community Development officer and Musson Jamaica Limited as a Business Development Coordinator.
Education: Graduate of Manning’s School. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Hotel Management at the University of the West Indies, an Executive MBA from the University of New Orleans.
