Parliamentarian

Political Career: He serves as the MP for Manchester Southern following his victory in the September 2025 election. MP Bunting is the Chairman of the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC). He previously served as the MP for Manchester Central (2007 to 2020) and served as Minister of National Security (2012-2016). He was General Secretary of the People’s National Party, serving from 2008 to 2016 and a Commissioner of the Electoral Commission of Jamaica.

Profession: An investment banker by profession and co-founded Jamaica’s first private investment bank, Dehring, Bunting and Golding.

Education: McGill University in Montreal, Canada and the University of Florida in Gainesville, Minister Bunting holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and a MBA in Finance.
