Political Career: He is serving his first term as a Member of Parliament for St Catherine South Eastern, representing the People’s National Party, having won his seat in the 2025 General Election.
Profession: Dr. Alfred Dawes is a distinguished surgeon, entrepreneur, and community advocate. He served as a Senior Registrar in General Surgery at Spanish Town Hospital (2012–2015), Senior Medical Officer at Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital (2016–2019) and Medical Director, CEO and Founder of the Windsor Wellness Centre in Kingston. He is a pass President of the Jamaica Medical Doctors Association.
Education: Doctor of Medicine (DM) in General Surgery in 2011, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004 from the University of West Indies, Mona.
