Betting, Gaming & Lotteries Commission

The Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) is a Jamaican statutory body established in 1975 under the provisions of the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act. The Commission is mandated to regulate and control betting, gaming, and lottery activities across the island, with a mission to uphold the highest standards of probity and integrity within the industry. In doing so, the BGLC seeks to engender public confidence in gaming activities, facilitate the growth of the sector, and safeguard Government revenue.
